Thanet Festival of Remembrance

The Thanet Festival of Remembrance...

...Has kicked off the 2016 season of Remembrance in fine style. The Winter Gardens, Margate, was again the location for the festival which featured the traditional Muster of Standards and Service of Remembrance.

Cadets from 2433 (Ramsgate and Manston) Squadron were busy selling poppies and raffle tickets - all in aid of the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal.

In their 300th Anniversary year, the Band of The Corps of Royal Engineers provided the musical support and performed Beating the Retreat.
