The Royal Air Force Air Cadets (RAFAC) is sponsored by the Royal Air Force (RAF) and is very much part of that family.

The Royal Air Force Air Cadets

The Royal Air Force Air Cadets (RAFAC) is based at the RAF College Cranwell in Lincolnshire and is responsible for running the Air Training Corps and the Combined Cadet Force (Royal Air Force) Sections throughout the UK and abroad.

Kent Wing Air Cadets

2433 Squadron is one of 34 Squadrons across Kent.  Based in Maidstone, the Wing is Commanded by a volunteer Wing Commander and has a small permanent staff supporting operations across the county.

Royal Air Forces Association

The Royal Air Forces Association (RAFA) exists to help currently serving or retired RAF personnel and their families in times of need.

​

It is also a great supporter of the Air Cadets and has launched its own RAFAYouth website to encourage young flying enthusiasts to find out more and get involved in aviation.

Spitfire & Hurricane Memorial

The iconic RAF fighter planes of the Second World War, the Supermarine Spitfire MkXVI and the Hawker Hurricane IIC, housed under one museum roof at the historic Battle of Britain airfield in Manston, Kent.

RAF Manston History Museum

The history of Royal Air Force Station Manston from the earliest Royal Naval Air Service beginnings.  A large collection of aircraft and exhibitions of RAF Manston related items.  The collection includes a Chipmunk aircraft of No. 1 Air Experience Flight, formed at RAF Manston, providing powered flying for Air Cadets and an early Air Cadet glider.
