Affiliation

A proud affiliation...

...has now been established between 2433 (Ramsgate and Manston) Squadron and the Worshipful Company of Firefighters (WCoFF).

The WCoFF are a City of London livery company. City livery companies can trace their history back many hundreds of years although the WCoFF are a modern livery company who, not surprisingly, represent the trade of firefighter.

This affiliation is an honour for a cadet unit. City livery companys often affiliate to Royal Navy ships, Army Regiments and front line Royal Air Force units, so for a cadet unit to achieve this affiliation is a reare distinction.

We hope that this affiliation will be of mutual benefit to both the WCoFF and 2433 Squadron. For our part we look forward to supporting events in the City of London and we will invite members of the WCoFF to Manston to our events.

2433 Squadron would like to thank the Master, Wardens, Court Assistants and Clerk of the Worshipful Company of Firefighters for bestowing this singular honour.
