The new Air Commodre-in-Chief is Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge, wife of His Royal Highness The Prince William, Duke of Cambridge.
The thanks of the ATC go to The Duke of Edinburgh for his steadfast and loyal service to the organisation for such a long time.
We look forward to seeing The Duchess of Cambridge as she takes on her duty in what is the 75th Anniversary year of the formation of the Air Cadets.
The photograph shows The Duchess of Cambridge, alongside Air Commodre McCafferty RAFR Commandant Air Cadets, HRH The Prince Philip and cadets of the ATC at the handover at Buckingham Palace in December 2015.
