Battle of Britain Parade and Service
Battle of Britain Parade and Service...
The annual Battle of Britain Parade and Service took place in Ramsgate on Sunday 20th September. 2433 Squadron were there in numbers, carrying out a number of duties.
The Manston Band of No. 2433 Squadron led the parade from the Royal Air Forces Association Club in Ramsgate to St. George's Church where there was a wreath laying ceremonay at the War Memorial in the church yard. Tutor Basic Training Flight cadets lined the steps up to the church, giving them an opportunity to take part, even though very new to the Corps.
A service was held in the church, after which the parade, including the Sqn marching contingent, firefighting trainees from DFTDC Manston, Veterans and Sea Cadets, returned to the RAFA Club for refreshments.
Another successful event on a very busy weekend...
